The Chambers of Trade and Crafts – non-profit corporations under public law with compulsory membership for each craft enterprise – offers a wide range of services and has many areas of responsibility such as self-governing, the political representation and the support of the skilled crafts sector, particularly by providing professional advice and organising the initial and continuing vocational education and training.

The Chamber of Trade and Crafts offers services in business consulting, start up consulting, technological consulting, consulting on vocational training, environmental consulting, consulting for exhibitions and fairs, EU- and foreign trade consulting and provides legal services. The Chamber’s administrative tasks are leading the crafts‘register, trainees‘register, controlling of vocational training and examinations.
