ibi research

The ibi (Institute for Banking Innovation) at the University of Regensburg was founded in 1993. The institute’s main goals are:
  1. To establish – supported by the university and the economy – competence in questions of management and technology for banking IT, of the interdependence between IT and business strategy in banks, and of the IT environments in banks, as long as they are of a scientific and non-profit nature.
  2. To apply findings from Banking practice to the University education.
  3. To educate executives in Economical IT, especially Banking IT.
  4. To spread its knowledge by means of publications, seminars, consulting and other proper ways or measures.
