The IDW is a voluntary association of German public auditors and audit firms in public practice aimed at fostering the activities of the auditing profession.

The IDW represents the interests of its members in respect of a wide range of professional issues and promotes its members’ interests at a national, European and international level. We are also involved in the continuous professional education of our members and their employees.
