Munich Risk and Insurance Center

The Munich Risk and Insurance Center (MRIC) was founded in February 2010 to foster and consolidate research and teaching in the field of risk management and insurance at the Munich location.

The MRIC aims enhance Munich's international visibility as an important insurance research and teaching location and provide infrastructure for an active exchange between theory and practice. As an interdisciplinary platform, the MRIC hosts conferences and other similar events as well as initiating and supporting research projects and publications on risk management and insurance. In addition, the center offers infrastructure for the advancement of students and young scientists in the subject.
