Munich: favorite in Europe with the world’s real estate investors
by Finanzplatz München Initiative
The county of Munich is by far Germany’s top region.
Those are the findings of “Emerging Trends in Real Estate Europe 2009", a study conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Urban Land Institute. The study polled 500 real estate experts. They ranked Munich first in both of the study’s categories: “earning opportunities from real estate investments” and “risk evaluation”.
Munich had finished fourth in 2008. This year’s study cited the city’s privately-owned housing market as being especially attractive, with 50% of the experts giving it a ‘buy’ ranking.
